What types of cookies do we use on our websites?
The websites belonging to Simplifi use two categories of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are placed on your device when accessing the Simplifi websites and do not require consent: they include the cookie that remembers your cookie choice (sfi_cookie_consent) and the session cookies required for signing in to the platform (AUTH_SESSION_ID, KC_AUTH_SESSION_HASH and KC_RESTART, placed on auth.simplifi.ro). Analytics cookies are placed only with your consent, given through the cookie banner: they include the cookies of the PostHog analytics service and the sfi_attribution cookie, used to attribute visits to our marketing campaigns. In the absence of consent, we collect aggregate statistics about how the site is used through a cookieless method: nothing is stored on your device, and visitors are counted using a temporary identifier, generated on PostHog's servers in the European Union, which does not allow identifying you or tracking you across days or websites.
What data is processed through the use of cookies?
Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the operation of the website and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are configured to respond to and remember actions you take, such as setting privacy preferences, logging into the site or filling out forms. You can configure your browser to block or alert the presence of these cookies, but some parts of the site will no longer work. These cookies do not store personal information. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, interactions, visit source); the data is processed through the PostHog platform, hosted in the European Union. How long do we store the data processed through the use of cookies?
The storage duration is limited to what is strictly necessary for the purpose of each cookie. The session cookies required for signing in are automatically deleted from your device when you close your browser. The sfi_cookie_consent cookie, which remembers your choice, is kept for 180 days. Among the analytics cookies, the sfi_attribution cookie is kept for 90 days, and the PostHog cookies for up to 12 months.
You can, however, delete these cookies at any time through your browser settings.
How can I refuse the use of cookies and how can I subsequently change my browser settings related to cookies?
You can change your choice regarding analytics cookies at any time through the «Cookie settings» link in the website footer. Additionally, if you do not agree with the use of cookies or any provision of this Policy, you can block any cookie in your browser settings. This will not restrict your access to our website.
This allows you to adapt your browser settings to cookies. For example, if you are the only person using your device/equipment (computer, tablet, etc.) you can set your browser to clear your browsing data every time you close the browser. You can also do this if there are multiple users of the device, for example by sharing the computer used to browse our website.
